Hi Kate,
I spoke to you earlier today. We would like to book the Staffroom for one week commencing 20/6/20. Just to confirm, the accommodation is wheelchair accessible, getting in and getting round inside.
There will be two of us but we would like to have the whole of the Staffroom. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards Nicola
We would like to book a four night stay over the Golden Spurtle competition - arrive October 6th and leaving on the 10th. It looks as if only one classroom is still available, but we'd love to be
wait listed for a second accommodation room as we have had two couples say they'd like to join us... Thanks.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in Mrs Clarks classroom, an oasis away from it all-peace and quiet, trees, dogs, eggs, hens, birds and wonderful home made scones. The classroom was perfect, very tastefully
done with everything you could ask for and great artwork too.
We hope to see you again soon

Just back from our third visit to The Old School and weren't disappointed. The accommodation is second to none, cosy, warm, spotlessly clean and the beds are just so comfortable. Everything about
this place is first class. And hooray, a decent hairdryer with a nozzle!
Thank you so much Kate and David

Lovely week at The Old School. Been touring this area for the last 30 years and have never found accommodation as nice as this! The standard is way higher than the "luxury" hotels in Aviemore.
Everything was pristine, the cleanest place we have ever stayed.
Thank You

Luxury accommodation indeed with everything provided for and extremely clean, well presented and comfortable. A lovely welcome from Kate with her own chickens' eggs in the fridge and some chocolate
brownies on the table. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings but still close to so many activities. Our two young children loved it too, especially feeding the chickens. We would defintely recommend!

What a fantastic holiday. The kids thought it the best one we've ever had! The Old Schoolhouse is wonderful, luxurious and in a beautiful setting. Kate is a fantastic host, the chocolate cake on
arrival was a lovely welcoming touch as were the delicious fresh eggs. We were there for the cycling and the area didn't disapoint we even managed to leave the car behind on a couple of occaions. A
great holiday have booked again for next year.

A last minute decision to go to Carrbridge for the weekend proved a great success, the old schoolhouse was beyond our expectations as far as luxury goes, so much so we nearly spent the weekend
inside!! Kate and David are excellent hosts nothing was too much bother and the bacon rolls on the morning we were leaving were first class.
The countryside around the schoolhouse is lovely
as are all the animals there, the girls loved the dogs and cats especially badcat, we only wish we could have spent longer, which means of course we will have to come back another time soon.

Spent a fantastic weekend at the Old School House in the staff room and can honestly say what an amazing place it was. As soon as we arrived Kate was outside to great us and had left a freshly backed
cake that was a lovely touch. Location wise it was easy to find and although it stood on its own it was only a few minutes away from some truly stunning views. Hoping to return in the not to distant
future.

Dear Kate and David,
Thank you once again for another fantastic New Year's holiday. Miss Mackintosh's classroom welcomed us with a beautiful Christmas tree, lots of local goodies and as usual the luxurious comforts that
make such a relaxing stay. It will certainly be a holiday to remember for all our family. Your hospitality and generosity are second to none and you gave us all a first class introduction into the
Scottish country way of life that we will never forget. We have made some great friends and look forward to seeing you all soon.
Many thanks once again.
Lots of Love Anita, Mehmet, Can and Arin xx
PS Any time you want a dog and cat sitter, the kids are free!

Well done, Miss Mac. Your small class of 7 Dec 2010 enjoyed their moments revelling in the foot and a half of snow that surrounded the Old School (path beautifully cleared though). Base camp was as
per the description - excellent, including the free range eggies in the fridge. A wee treat. And the friendly dogs, too, to welcome you home.
This report card confirms your class worked diligently during formal lessons on Cairngorm Mountain when untracked powder challenged the fitness and skill of the students. Stretching credibility, we
know, but there was powder snow everywhere in good light, no wind and virtually no queues. Nine out of 10 we would say. Only the Ptarmigan Restaurant's macaroni and chips reminded us we were in
Scotland, not the Alps.
Back in school, we took time to distil the day's lessons, prompted by local Speyside worthies Messers Macallan and Balvennie, accompanied by their mate, Ben Riach. Can't recall a thing after that.
Only that we would like to enrol in the Old School next time we are up.
Many thanks!

A Wonderful week was spent in Miss Mackintoshs classroom.
I was a bit dubious about booking an converted school for Jane's half term break as she's a school teacher,
I needn't have worried though, The Old School at Carrbridge is as far removed from a school as you could imagine.
The fixtures and fittings are of the highest quality and every attention to detail has been thought through by Kate and David, right down to the original artwork hanging on the walls.
You could almost spend your holiday indoors enjoying the comfort of the place.
If you do decide to venture out though the location couldn't be better for exploring the spectacular Highland scenary with Aviemore less than ten minutes down the road.
Wildlife surrounds the area, in just a few days we had ticked off, an Otter, Crested Tits, Waxwings and Golden Eagles. Unfortunately we blanked on a Capercaillie, Maybe next time!
